Overview
The THAAI Project is a longitudinal cohort study investigating the maternal-infant health from early pregnancy through the first 1,000 days of a child’s life. It aims to identify determinants of birth outcomes to optimise infant growth and development.
Duties
- Actively recruit participants for the study.
- Conduct and support all data collection activities, fieldwork, participant interviews, surveys, and nutritional assessments.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the project database and assist in maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist with monitoring the quality of data and identifying discrepancies or inconsistencies.
- Provide technical assistance in setting up and calibrating research instruments and tools.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all project activities.
- Participate in regular field visits to monitor ongoing research activities and ensure adherence to research protocols.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and manuscripts for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in other studies and activities of the Division of Nutrition.
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications: M.Sc. in Food Science and Nutrition.
- Experience: M.Sc. with minimum 1 year of experience.
- Previous experience with study management.
- Good technical, analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with strong written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a research team.
- Attention to detail, time management, systematic work approach.
