Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in ferro alloys or market intelligence.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We are looking for an Analyst – Ferro Alloys Market to track ferro alloys markets, conduct primary and secondary research, assess market prices, and develop actionable market intelligence across various ferro alloy products. The role involves regular interaction with manufacturers, traders, distributors, exporters, importers, and end-users to develop reliable pricing benchmarks and insightful market reports.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research to collect, validate, and analyse ferro alloy pricing and market data.
• Track ferro alloy prices, demand-supply trends, production, imports, exports, trade flows, and other key market indicators.
• Develop and maintain pricing methodologies and benchmark assessments through continuous interaction with market participants.
• Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, traders, distributors, exporters, importers, and steel producers.
• Expand the network of reliable pricing contributors across domestic and international markets.
• Identify and onboard new market participants to strengthen benchmark coverage and data quality.
• Prepare daily market updates, weekly insights, analytical articles, demand outlooks, and industry reports.
• Prepare reports covering ferro alloy prices, production trends, capacity expansions, trade flows, raw material developments, and end-user demand.
• Maintain accurate pricing databases, dashboards, market trackers, and historical data.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing movements, trade policies, government initiatives, and industry developments.
• Support clients by responding to market-related queries with accurate market interpretation and data-backed insights.
• Participate in client meetings, product demonstrations, webinars, presentations, and industry-focused content initiatives.
• Coordinate with research, consulting, and sales teams on customised research assignments and client deliverables.

• Experience in procurement or sourcing of ferro alloys, steel raw materials, or industrial minerals.
• Experience in B2B sales or trading of ferro alloys, including manganese alloys, silicon alloys, chrome alloys, or related industrial products.
• Experience conducting primary research through interaction with manufacturers, traders, exporters, importers, distributors, and steel producers.
• Experience in collecting, validating, and analysing pricing and trade data and preparing market reports.
• Exposure to commodity price assessment, market intelligence, or pricing methodologies will be highly preferred.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Commerce, Metallurgy, or a related field.
• Relevant industry experience and strong knowledge of the ferro alloys and steel value chain will be an added advantage.
