Job summary

Jarvis Technology & Strategy Consulting in Delhi is offering a full-time in-office internship for 3 months, focusing on political, governance, and public policy research. You will conduct surveys, perform data analysis, and prepare deliverables under guidance while sharpening analytical skills.

Stipend ranges from INR 18,000 to 20,000 per month. Eligible candidates must be available for the full duration, start between Sep 22 and Oct 27, 2026, and be prepared for an office-based role with

Qualifications

• Strong interest and awareness of Indian politics, governance, public policy and electoral dynamics.
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Hindi.
• Basic understanding of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with ability to make sense of data.
• Ability to conduct structured research and work with multiple sources.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, Google Docs, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to learn, take ownership, and handle varied assignments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare research notes, reports, presentations, briefs, frameworks, and deliverables.
• Support the team in electoral, political, governance, and public opinion research.
• Conduct fact-checking, data validation, and quality checks for reports.
• Assist the team with day-to-day research and project requirements.

About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

• 1. Track and analyse political, policy, governance, and socio-economic developments across India.
• 2. Conduct primary and secondary research using surveys, interviews, questionnaires, public data, news sources, and other relevant sources.
• 3. Support qualitative and quantitative research for ongoing projects.
• 4. Collect, organise, clean, and analyse data to identify relevant trends and insights.
• 5. Assist in understanding the impact of national and state-level developments at the regional and hyperlocal level.
• 6. Prepare research notes, reports, presentations, briefs, frameworks, and other project deliverables.
• 7. Support the team in electoral, political, governance, and public opinion research.
• 8. Conduct fact-checking, data validation, and quality checks to ensure the accuracy of reports and deliverables.
• 9. Assist the team with day-to-day research and project requirements as they arise.
