Position: Research Associate/ Research Engineer

Position Summary

The Research Associate will be primarily responsible for inorganic characterization of SG raw materials and products using techniques such as XRF, ICP-OES, CHNS, and Ion Chromatography (IC). The role demands strong expertise in XRF, including method development, calibration, and instrument troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced inorganic analysis using XRF, ICP-OES, CHNS, and IC.
• Lead method development, calibration protocols, and troubleshooting for XRF and other analytical instruments.
• Ensure instruments are well-maintained and coordinate repairs with service personnel.
• Adapt analytical approaches for a wide range of materials and applications.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Saint-Gobain’s data management norms.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings clearly.
• Plan and prioritize daily lab activities with minimal supervision.
• Maintain lab cleanliness, safety, and compliance with chemical handling and disposal regulations.
• Advocate for behavior-based safety and responsible lab practices.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, waste management, inventory, and 5S standards.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:
