Job summary

Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited is seeking experts to lead the setup of analytical facilities for battery materials and related testing. The position requires 8–12 years in chemical/instrumental analysis, strong leadership, and an ability to coach high-performing teams while maintaining rigorous quality standards.

Qualifications

• M.Sc in Analytical or Inorganic chemistry preferred, with hands-on analytical experience.
• 8–12 years in chemical/instrumental analysis, data interpretation and troubleshooting.
• Experience handling hygroscopic/hazardous materials.
• Exposure to large chemical complexes is a plus.
• Adherence to IMS procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up analytical facility for testing battery materials and raw/in-process samples as required.
• Ensure zero-error testing standards and zero defect product delivery.
• Establish and maintain Quality Assurance Systems for world-class product delivery with minimal complaints.
• Adhere to IMS procedures and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with chemical/instrumental analysis and glove box operations.

Job description

We are actively looking for credible team members who would be primarily responsible for:

• To set up analytical facility for testing Battery Materials and raw materials and in process samples as required.


• Ensure all Zero Error testing standard and ensure Zero defect product delivery.


• Establish and maintain Quality Assurance Systems in place and ensure world class product delivery system with zero customer complaints as the target


• Adherence to IMS procedures / documentation.


• Hands‑on experience with chemical and instrumental analysis, and handling hygroscopic / hazardous materials. (Particularly with Glove box operations, Ion chromatography, GC-MS, ICP-MS, etc.)


• Good analytical ability and having exposure to root cause analysis


• Good leadership skills with the ability to coach and build high performing teams


• Very good understanding of Chemistry and operational issues

Educational Requirements:

M. Sc in Analytical / Inorganic chemistry preferred OR equivalent with hands on experience of chemical analysis.

Experience required:

• Total experience around 8 to 12 yrs in chemical / instrumental analysis, data interpretation and trouble shooting.


• Handling of hygroscopic / hazardous materials. (3 - 5 years)


• Experience in large and leading chemical complex will be added advantage
