Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a mid-to-senior VLSI engineer in Bengaluru to own Place & Route, CTS, and routability analyses with a focus on congestion and timing. You will engage in Calibre/Innovus-based flows, DRC/LVS/DFM checks, RC integrity, and post Tapeout eJob view releases within a dynamic PD team.

Qualifications include 4–10 years of relevant experience, scripting in Perl/TCL, and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of VLSI design experience.
• Proficient in CTS, routability analysis and timing concerns.
• Hands-on with DRC/LVS/DFM, antenna, ESD latchup checks.

Responsibilities

• Place and Route, CTS, Routability analysis with respect to congestion.
• Physical verification: DRC, LVS, Antenna, LUP, and tapeout readiness.
• Integrate analog blocks and meet RC requirements for signals.
• Implement timing ECOs and IR drop fixes; SP EF extraction and noise analysis.
• Collaborate with PD team to meet milestones; post Tapeout eJob view release.

• Place and Route, CTS, Routablity analysis with respect to congestion.
• Well versed in physical verification aspect, DRC, LVS, Antenna, LUP, (chip finishing and Tapeout).
• Integration of analog blocks, Meeting RC requirements for manual/special signals
• Good understanding of calibre rule deck of DRC/LVS/DFM,DFY, ERC and ESD latchup.
• Responsible for all the integrity checks and post Tapeout eJob view.
• Good scripting knowledge perl and TCL, familiar with caliber, Innovus.
• Understanding of VLSI fabrication process.
• Implementing timing ECOs. Implementing IR drop fixes, SPEF extraction, signal EM fixes, Noise analysis.
• Responsible for all the integrity checks and post Tapeout eJob view release.
• Open to new responsibilities in context of rapid technological change.
• Good communication skills, work closely with the team members to accomplish PD milestone.

Secondary competencies

• Good understanding of CTS, STA, PTSI and timing.
• Relevant experience of CAD tools cadence Innovus, Calibre is preferred.
• Experiance - 4 to 10 years.
