Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited in Chennai invites applications for the role of Reporting & Data Analyst – Cybersecurity Operations. The role focuses on delivering recurring cybersecurity operations reporting, dashboards, and data quality across security tools and IT operations.

You will develop workload forecasting, perform vulnerability trend analysis, and provide data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement within the ACP Team and Governance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• 6–8 years of experience in cybersecurity reporting, security operations analytics or IT operations reporting.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with cybersecurity context.
• Experience with dashboards/reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, Power Query, lookups, data validation and dashboards.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data extraction/transformation concepts.
• Experience with KPI/SLA design and capacity planning.
• Ability to work with data from vulnerability scanners, SIEM, ticketing systems, and asset repositories.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain dashboards for vulnerability management, ACP operations, assets, and performance.
• Track metrics such as managed assets, high/critical vulnerabilities, remediation, and capacity utilization.
• Perform vulnerability trend analysis to identify risk patterns and remediation performance.
• Develop workload forecasting and capacity models to support staffing and planning.
• Prepare management reports and executive summaries with trends, risks, and actions.
• Collect, validate, normalize, and reconcile data from security tools, ticketing systems, and inventories.
• Establish data quality checks and ensure consistency of metrics across stakeholders.
• Support ACP governance reporting with asset, protection, evidence, and approval metrics.
• Automate repetitive reporting and data preparation where feasible.
• Support periodic reviews and provide data-driven insights for improvement.

We are looking for: Cybersecurity Professional Reporting & Data Analyst – Cybersecurity Operations

You’ll make an impact by:

• Own recurring cybersecurity operations reporting, including KPI, SLA, backlog, aging, remediation, and compliance metrics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards for vulnerability management, ACP operations, managed assets, and operational performance.
• Track measures such as managed assets, ACP-managed systems, high/critical vulnerabilities, vendor-dependent remediation, ACP hours, backlog growth, and capacity utilization.
• Perform vulnerability trend analysis to identify risk patterns, recurring issues, aging, and remediation performance.
• Develop workload forecasting and capacity models to support staffing and operational planning.
• Prepare management reports and executive summaries with clear trends, risks, dependencies, and recommended actions.
• Collect, validate, normalize, and reconcile data from security tools, ticketing systems, asset inventories, spreadsheets, and other operational sources.
• Establish data quality checks and ensure consistency of reported metrics across stakeholders.
• Support ACP governance reporting by maintaining asset, protection requirement, evidence, implementation, exception, and approval metrics.
• Automate repetitive reporting and data preparation activities wherever feasible.
• Support periodic operational reviews and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

• B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• 6–8 years of experience in cybersecurity reporting, security operations analytics, business intelligence, or IT operations reporting.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with cybersecurity operations context.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Excel, or equivalent.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, Power Query, lookups, data validation, and dashboarding.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data extraction/transformation concepts.
• Experience with KPI/SLA design, operational metrics, trend analysis, and capacity planning.
• Ability to work with security data from vulnerability scanners, SIEM platforms, ticketing systems, asset repositories, and compliance tools.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, Power Query, or similar automation technologies is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate complex data clearly to technical and management audiences.
• Demonstrated experience building operational dashboards and management reports.
• Power BI, SQL, data analytics, or relevant BI certifications are preferred.
• Preferred Certifications:
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, SQL/data analytics, or equivalent BI certifications.
• Key interfaces:
• Operations Lead | Vulnerability Management | ACP Team | Remediation Engineers | Management | Governance.
