Job summary

We are looking for a Report and Database Developer with strong hands‑on expertise in SQL Server, SSRS, and Power BI to design, build, and maintain reporting and data solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate requirements into reliable, performant reports and dashboards that drive decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain operational and analytical reports using SSRS (paginated reports) and Power BI (interactive dashboards).
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions on SQL Server.
• Build and maintain data models, including star/snowflake schemas, to support reporting needs.
• Develop and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source.
• Implement Power BI datasets, DAX measures, row-level security, and scheduled refreshes.
• Tune query and report performance; troubleshoot bottlenecks at the database and report layer.
• Gather and analyze requirements with business users, then translate them into technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 4–6 years of professional experience in database and report development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T‑SQL): queries, stored procedures, indexing, performance.
• Hands‑on experience building paginated reports with SSRS.
• Power BI development skills, including DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, and publishing to Power BI Service.
• Understanding of relational database design and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing for performance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with non‑technical stakeholders.
