We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Power BI and data analytics. The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years of experience and will be responsible for delivering end-to-end BI solutions, including data modeling, report development, performance optimization, and stakeholder collaboration.

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4–7 years of experience in Power BI and data analytics domain
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop & Service
• Strong expertise in DAX, SQL, and Power Query (M)
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling)
• Good experience in SQL (joins, CTEs, performance tuning)
• Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing
• Experience with row-level security (RLS) in Power BI
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices
• Ability to work independently and communicate with stakeholders
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI reports and dashboards
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Design and implement data models (star/snowflake schema)
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy
• Optimize report performance and manage large datasets
• Build complex DAX measures and manage data modeling
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and define KPIs
• Understand and contribute to end-to-end data architecture
• Handle data refreshes, scheduling, and deployment
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance
• Maintain documentation for reports and data models

Good to Have

Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau) or Azure technologies is a plus.
