Responsibilities

• Review home inspection reports to identify necessary repairs.

• Respond to questions and provide clarification regarding repair scopes, pricing, and assumptions as needed.
• Track and organize repair data to support reporting, auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of pricing standards, templates, tools, and processes as the team scales.

About the Role

Homeward is establishing a new Repairs Pricing team and is seeking Repairs Scoping Specialists to play a critical role in its development and success. This position will be responsible for reviewing residential home inspection reports, identifying deficiencies and required repairs, and producing accurate, detailed, and well-organized repair scopes and pricing. Reporting into the Repairs organization, this role will collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners to support timely and informed decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

• Review residential home inspection reports, photos, and supporting documentation to identify defects, safety concerns, and required repairs.
• Develop comprehensive repair scopes that clearly define what is needed to resell the home.
• Create accurate and consistent repair cost estimates using U.S. residential pricing standards, market data, and internal guidelines.
• Ensure repair scopes and pricing are thorough, clearly documented, and easy to understand for internal/external stakeholders.
