Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED in Vadodara, Gujarat, seeks a Maintenance supervisor for transformers manufacturing. You will oversee Breakdown, Preventive and Planned maintenance of production lines and ensure safety and energy efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/ Degree in Electrical engineering with 5–10 years of plant machinery maintenance experience and is familiar with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, EOT cranes, drying ovens and winding machines; fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Diploma /Degree in Electrical engineering
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience of maintenance of Plant machinery of transformers manufacturing plant/Industrial engineering
• Familiarity with Hydraulic/Pneumatic systems, vacuum pumps, EOT cranes, Drying ovens, Winding machines
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing execution of Breakdown Maintenance, Preventive maintenance and Planned maintenance of equipment of transformers manufacturing production lines.
• Managing and updating technical documentation of equipment and solving major technical issues to achieve higher performance.
• Maintaining tools and repairing equipment for a good working order; optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
• Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines; responding to emergencies to minimize disruption.
• Implementing health, safety and environment guidelines to ensure safety of people and resources.

Mission Statement:

• A Team Member who works within team of professional level employees (typically entry or experienced level) and may also supervise some semi-skilled employees and contractors.
• Industrial engineering expertise in tooling, machinery and RE infrastructure& CAPEX budgeting.
• Monitoring progress and performance against the Maintenance plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to achieve Maintenance KPIs.
• Team strengthening with capacity enhancement & cater production demand in all three shifts
• Collaborating with the production team to define maintenance plans of equipment for preventive and planned maintenance and consulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment

Your Responsibilities:

Overseeing execution of Breakdown Maintenance, Preventive maintenance and Planned maintenance of equipment of transformers manufacturing production lines.

• Managing and updating technical documentation of equipment. Solving major technical, equipment issues in order to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
• Maintaining tools and repairing equipment for a good working order. Optimizing operational and energy in a sufficient manner.
• Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.
• Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.
• Implementing health, safety and environment guidelines and directives to ensure the safety of people and resources.
• Knowledge about electrical equipment drawings and their operation (Power &control circuit)
• KPI – Machine availability, OEE, MTTR & MTBR, Energy management
