Job summary

Sofomation Energy in Mumbai seeks an experienced wind energy engineer to lead design reviews and technical consultancy for utility-scale wind projects.

You will apply deep knowledge of wind turbine generators, wind resource assessment and energy yield prediction to support project delivery and grid integration.

A strong background in IEC 61400 series, relevant codes and standards is required to ensure compliance and successful OE/IE/LTA assignments.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of proven experience in utility-scale wind energy engineering.
• Strong understanding of WTGs, wind resource assessment, energy yield prediction.
• Experience with wind farm electrical systems and grid interconnection.
• Knowledge of IEC 61400 series, DNV, MEASNET, IEEE, Eurocodes and regional grid codes.

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Renewable Energy, Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Wind Energy, Renewable Energy or Power Systems is an advantage.
• 5–10+ years of proven experience in utility-scale wind energy engineering, design review, technical consultancy or OE/IE/LTA assignments.
