Job summary

Aditya Birla Renewables seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering professional to lead execution, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for utility-scale wind power projects in Gujarat. You will oversee WTGs, substations, 33 kV lines, SCADA integration, and project handovers.

The role requires 10–15 years in renewable energy, hands-on commissioning, and strong knowledge of protection schemes. Willingness to relocate to project sites is essential.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in renewable energy or power projects.
• Hands-on experience in execution and commissioning of wind power projects.
• Experience handling electrical works for projects of 50 MW or above preferred.
• Strong knowledge of WTGs, SCADA, relay & protection, substations, transmission lines, testing & commissioning, electrical safety standards.
• Knowledge of SAP procurement and service modules will be an advantage.
• Willingness to relocate to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction and commissioning activities for wind farm projects.
• Manage installation and commissioning of WTGs, substations (PSS/USS), switchyards, and 33 kV transmission lines.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Review engineering drawings, commissioning procedures, and technical documentation.
• Oversee SCADA communication systems, grounding systems, lightning protection systems, and auxiliary electrical works.
• Manage contractor billing, JMR certification, invoice verification, and material reconciliation.
• Ensure closure of punch points and successful project handover to the O&M team.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure project success.

About the Role
