This is not a translation or content‑writing role. We are seeking credible subject‑matter experts deeply grounded in Indian dramaturgy and performance cultures.

Employment Type: Hourly Contract

Who should apply

You should meet most or all of the following:

• Native fluency in Kannada (reading and writing)
• Strong command of English (for prompt interpretation and evaluation)
• Deep academic, professional, or research expertise in Theatre and performance within the Indian context, such as:
• Indian theatre traditions (classical, folk, and modern)
• Regional theatre movements in Kannada theatre traditions (major playwrights, movements, institutions, and performance cultures)
• Playwriting, dramaturgy, and script analysis
• Theatre direction and performance practice
• Acting theory, voice, movement, and stagecraft
• Theatre history and historiography in India
• Political theatre, community theatre, and applied theatre practices
• Theatre criticism, theory, and aesthetics
• PhD, MPhil, or Master’s degree preferred, or extensive credible experience in the field will also be considered.
• Passion for theatre, storytelling, and cultural expression.

Your Role

• Evaluate model outputs for factual accuracy, dramaturgical depth, cultural nuance, and contextual relevance.
• Identify blind spots and weaknesses in current AI understanding of theatre traditions and performance cultures.
• Collaborate with an international expert network shaping how AI understands Indian theatre and dramaturgy.
