Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking detail-oriented and highly organized accounting professionals for remote work-from-home opportunities. As a remote accounting professional, you will work independently and collaboratively to ensure that our clients financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and tax returns.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecast financial performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to clarify any discrepancies or questions regarding financial matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting or financial management, ideally in a remote setting.
