Job summary

EAST SUN Electronics is seeking a reliability engineer to oversee proactive maintenance, reliability testing, and failure analysis across products. You will work on PFMEA/DFMEA, set up tests, and collaborate with manufacturers to resolve issues.

The role requires hands-on electrical skills, soldering, wiring, and interpretation of schematics, plus data maintenance and process improvements in the lab.

Qualifications

• Strong basic electronic components knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, soldering, wiring and interpretation of electrical schematics.
• Experience with reliability testing and failure analysis (PFMEA/DFMEA).

Responsibilities

• Determine function, failure modes, probability of failure, impact severity, and acceptable risk to define maintenance requirements.
• Identify proactive maintenance requirements to increase plant productivity.
• Establish test procedures and perform reliability testing.
• Support Equipment Reliability Strategy (ERS) deployment.
• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers.
• Maintain reports and data of testing techniques and lab equipment.
• Resolve customer technical queries and experiments.
• Cycles of improvement to ensure reliable processes.
• Failure analysis and PFMEA/DFMEA for future products and components.
• Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, soldering, wiring, and test setup.
• Assist reliability engineer in electronic product electrical verification testing.
• Maintain test data files and contribute to lab process improvements.
• Contribute to operating procedures and error-proofing.
• Perform basic soldering, wiring, fixture setup and product labeling.

Male candidates, Immediate Joiners & Strong basic Electronic Components Knowledge.

1. Determine the function, capability, functional failure modes, probability of failure, impact severity and acceptable risk for assets to define the right maintenance requirements to eliminate functional failures and their effects
2. The prime purpose is to identify the pro-active maintenance requirements for assets to increase plant productivity,
3. Establish test procedures and perform reliability testing.
4. Equipment Reliability Strategy (ERS) program to ensure appropriate deployment,
5. Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representative
6. Maintain reports and record data of different testing techniques, laboratory equipment, and specifications.
7. Solve the Customer technical queries and experiment
8. Cycles of improvement to ensure a sustainable reliability process.
9. Failure analysis and reliability assessment of future products , components, Root cause analysis, PFMEA and DFMEA
10. Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, soldering, wiring, setup of electrical tests and interpretation of electrical schematics.
11. Perform the set-up, running a wide variety of reliability environmental, mechanical and chemical testing, HALT/HASA testing, chambers operation and electrical tests per reliability engineer requirements, maintenance/ basic calibration of test equipment and environmental chambers, develop reliability stress hardware specifications and procedures.
12. Assist Reliability engineer in performing electronic products electrical verification testing
13. Maintain test data files, and databases and reports test status and non-conformances to engineering teams.
14. Contribute to lab continuous improvement efforts, with participation in development of operating procedures, test methods, and error-proofing.
15. Perform basic soldering, wiring, fixture setup and product labeling to track DUTs
