  • Coordinate allocation and readiness of burn-in hardware in alignment with the reliability master schedule, test plan requirements, device configuration, and project priority.
  • Facilitate training programs for maintenance and operations staff to enhance understanding of reliability principles.
  • Develop and maintain controlled Standard Operating Procedures that define reliability lab workflows, task ownership, process controls, equipment-use requirements, documentation standards, and revision-controlled execution criteria.
  • Plan and schedule burn-in chamber capacity based on reliability test duration, temperature profile, voltage bias conditions, lot priority, and equipment availability.
  • Optimize oven and chamber utilization by consolidating compatible products, test conditions, soak durations, package types, and reliability stress requirements within qualified operating limits.
  • Manage procurement, inventory control, and traceability of bill-of-material components required for in-house reliability hardware, fixtures, sockets, burn-in boards, and associated lab infrastructure.
  • Maintain controlled inventory, storage, labeling, revision tracking, and availability of in-house PCBs used for reliability stress testing and production-support activities.
  • Coordinate external PCB fabrication and assembly builds, including vendor communication, technical documentation review, build status tracking, delivery schedules, and quality follow-up.
  • Track external reliability testing activities, including sample shipments, test conditions, vendor status updates, milestone completion, data return, and project closure documentation.
  • Manage daily and weekly team task assignments based on reliability lab workload, production-support priorities, equipment constraints, test readiness, and schedule commitments.
  • Monitor and reconcile monthly reliability lab expenses, including purchase orders, vendor invoices, consumables, hardware builds, service charges, and budget-impacting procurement activity.
  • Manage completed reliability projects with appropriate documentation, test records, hardware disposition, vendor deliverables, procurement history, and project closure status.
  • Maintain cross-functional technical competency in assigned reliability lab processes, equipment operation, hardware handling, and production-support activities as business needs require.
  • Manage external suppliers, U.S. and Asia-based vendors, and cross-site collaborators across time zones to support procurement, PCB builds, reliability testing schedules, technical issue resolution, and urgent weekend coverage when required.
  • Lead reliability hardware development for NPI products by defining test hardware requirements, coordinating schematic and PCB design inputs, supporting fixture and burn-in board readiness, validating build configurations, and driving hardware release to support qualification execution.
  • Maintain reliability lab equipment, tooling, fixtures, and instrumentation in an operationally ready state by verifying calibration status, preventive maintenance compliance, functional performance, asset traceability, and readiness prior to reliability stress execution.
QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:
  • Demonstrated capability to perform effectively in a high-growth, fast-paced semiconductor engineering environment with evolving reliability lab priorities, resource constraints, and execution timelines.
  • Self-driven technical contributor with the initiative to expand knowledge in reliability engineering practices, semiconductor test methods, lab processes, and hardware-support workflows.
