Job summary

Amazon in Gurgaon, India is seeking a Facility & Admin technician to manage electrical, mechanical, and automation maintenance supporting production and operations.

You will perform daily/weekly/monthly checks, attend corrective maintenance calls, coordinate with vendors for warranty/AMC, and ensure safe, compliant operation of conveyors, power distribution, lighting, and control systems. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting and reporting of TT closures and RCA.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Instrumentation & Controls.

Responsibilities

• Daily, weekly, monthly technical checks per PPM schedule.
• Attend TT calls for corrective maintenance, service and repair.
• Coordinate with vendors for systems under warranty/AMC.
• Energy consumption reading.
• DG maintenance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot power distribution, lighting, transformers and wiring.
• Install, troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams and control components (photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, encoders).
• Support production in safe, customer-focused manner.
• Minor refurbishment and upgrades of building finishes, fixtures, fittings and equipment including OPS equipment like trolley, cages, carts.
• Fire alarm & extinguishers checks.
• Maintenance, oiling, greasing of carts, trolleys, pump, rolling shutters.
• Attending regular Electrical works.
• Height work, hot work permit to issue.
• Minor Civil & Plumbing corrective maintenance calls.
• Provide daily reports on TT closures, open cases & RCA.
• Tools inventory update.
• PPM schedule maintenance.
• Soft services like Pest control, Housekeeping, Scrap & Garbage disposal.
• Handling agency staff & overall shift.

• Dedicated to supporting production by working in a safe, customer focused manner.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of conveyors/automation/control systems maintenance experience
