Job summary

JiBe ERP is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to drive release planning and execution for our cloud-based shipping ERP. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage release strategies, oversee go-live activities, and ensure timely delivery while aligning with SDLC and project management best practices.

On-call availability during release windows and critical production issues will be required. Join JiBe ERP to direct product releases from planning through verification, shaping workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in release management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and project management principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with various teams.
• Familiarity with release management tools and practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the progress of software releases from planning to execution and verification.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful releases.
• Develop and implement release strategies and schedules.
• Identify and manage risks that may affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
• Lead and coordinate the Go-Live activities, including deployment plans and checklists.
• Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go reviews.
• Maintain a release repository and manage build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
• Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges.
• Continually improve the release process.
• Be available on-call during release windows, go-live activities and production issues.

• Work with release engineers to understand the impacts of branches and code merges.
• Continually work towards making improvements in the release process.
• Availability to be on call during release windows, go live activities and critical production issues.
