Looking for a highly experienced Lead/Senior Release Manager with over 10 years of experience in the software industry to own, scale, and mature our end-to-end release management lifecycle. In this strategic, high-impact role, you will act as the ultimate authority for code health, deployment strategy, and release integrity across multiple cross-functional engineering teams. You will collaborate closely with Development, QA, Product Management, and IT Operations to balance the rapid pace of continuous delivery with strict production stability.

Key Responsibilities

Release Strategy & Governance

Own the Release Lifecycle: Plan, orchestrate, and manage enterprise-level software releases across multiple concurrent pipelines and environments.

Centralize Planning: Design, maintain, and publish a comprehensive master release calendar aligning product milestones with operational capacities.

Lead Release Readiness: Conduct rigorous milestone reviews, business sign-offs, and quality gate assessments prior to production rollouts.

Govern Compliance: Chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and enforce governance workflows to ensure audit readiness and process compliance.

Technical Execution & DevOps Automation

Drive CI/CD Evolution: Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to build, optimize, and scale fully automated deployment pipelines.

Manage Code Branching: Design and govern complex version control branching and merging strategies (e.g., GitFlow, trunk-based development).

Oversee Environment Integrity: Validate infrastructure configurations, feature toggling mechanisms, and environment parity across staging and production.

Technical Skill Set

CI/CD & Automation: In-depth mastery of orchestration tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Version Control: Deep architectural understanding of Git ecosystems, artifact repositories (JFrog Artifactory, Nexus), and code branching.

Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on familiarity with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes).

Scripting Languages: Strong capability in writing automated check scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Project Management Tools: Advanced workflow design knowledge using Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
