Job Description

Release Planning & Governance

• Plan, schedule, and communicate release windows and the overall release lifecycle.
• Maintain and publish the release calendar for all environments.
• Evaluate and optimize release management processes, quality gates, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with governance criteria, entry/exit criteria, and approval workflows.
• Conduct and facilitate release planning, Go/No-Go meetings, and stakeholder alignment.

Technical Deployment & Automation

• Manage deployment processes using automation tools, scripts, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Coordinate with Development, QA, and Operations teams for builds, integration, deployment, and environment setup.
• Ensure release readiness and environment availability, including configuration management and provisioning.
• Maintain release infrastructure, build tools, and deployment frameworks.
• Implement and manage rollback procedures, version control workflows, and release automation.

Monitoring, Risk & Issue Management

• Monitor and control all release activities across environments.
• Identify, manage, and communicate risks affecting release scope, timelines, or environments.
• Handle emergency releases, hotfix deployments, and rapid recovery situations.
• Troubleshoot deployment-related technical issues to ensure smooth and stable releases.

Documentation & Reporting

• Review and verify completeness of release artifacts.
• Maintain technical release documentation (deployment plans, configuration details, troubleshooting steps).
• Publish regular release status reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.
