Job summary

SBI Mutual Fund (SBIMF) seeks a sales-focused professional to formulate marketing and distribution plans aimed at tapping National Distributors, Private Banking, and IFAs for growth of the AMC's Retail business.

Key duties include expanding market share in Retail, planning product distribution, and leading client reporting, trainings, and investor awareness initiatives across geographies while building a strong sales team and communicating a vibrant brand.

Qualifications

• MBA or professional qualification with retail sales exposure.
• Undergraduate degree is required.
• NISM Certification is mandatory.
• Experience in Retail Sales is desirable (0–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Formulate marketing and distribution plans to tap channels (ND, IFA, Private Banking) for the AMC.
• Significantly increase the market share of AMC in the Retail channel.
• Plan distribution of the full range of SBIFM products to IFA, Private Banks, and ND.
• Oversee preparation of regular client reporting.
• Contribute to short/long-term sales plans for the branch.
• Follow up with potential leads across products for conversion.
• Develop and implement growth strategies in geographies.
• Communicate a strong and vibrant brand.
• Build and maintain an effective sales team.
• MFD Certification, conduct trainings.
• Investor awareness programs.
• Contribute to the overall profitability of the AMC.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Formulation of the marketing and the distribution plan to tap business from the respective channels (i.e., National Distributors, Private Banking Channel, Individual Financial Advisors) for the AMC based on overall strategy
• Significantly Increase the market share of AMC in the Retail channel.
• Planning distribution of the full range of investment products and capabilities developed by SBIFM to IFA, Private Banks, ND
• Oversee and contribute to preparation of regular client reporting
• Contribute of implementation of the Short / long term sales plan for the branch
• Regular follow-up with all potential leads across products for effective conversion
• Develop, implement strategy to achieve planned growth objectives in the geographies
• Help in communicating a strong and vibrant brand
• Build, maintain an effective sales team
• MFD Certification, Conduct trainings
• Investor Awareness Programs
