Job summary

Credit Saison India is seeking a motivated Relationship Officer for its Secured Direct lending team. The role focuses on sourcing and processing loan applications through self-sourcing and connectors, representing the company to clients while adhering to compliance and credit guidelines.

The position emphasizes building strong client relationships, proactive lead generation, and accurate processing to ensure timely disbursal of loans under a fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• XII cleared.
• 1-2 years of experience in direct sourcing of affordable mortgage loans (LAP and HL).
• Understanding of legal and technical aspects of mortgage loans.
• Good understanding of local economy.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate leads through self-sourcing (cold calling, field visits, referrals, digital platforms, etc.).
• Build and manage a reliable network of connectors such as property dealers, chartered accountants, and other channel partners to source loan applications.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with leads to maximize conversion.
• Engage with prospective borrowers to understand their financial needs and provide suitable loan products.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers to encourage referrals and repeat business.
• Collect, verify, and ensure timely submission of all necessary documentation required for loan processing.
• Coordinate with internal credit and operations teams to ensure smooth processing and disbursal of loans.
• Ensure all applications comply with regulatory and organizational credit guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of lead sourcing, customer interactions, and loan application statuses.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to management.
