Luxoft in Bengaluru, India, is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to support a long-running product line. The role focuses on Java/Selenium automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration within an Agile/Scrum setup. The team collaborates with developers, BAs, and product owners to clarify requirements, design tests and triage defects.

The engineer will develop and maintain automation scripts, execute tests, and contribute to framework enhancements in a hybrid work environment from Bangalore.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of software testing experience (automation and manual).
• Strong knowledge of Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (TestNG/JUnit, Maven).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and version control (Git).
• Experience with API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
• Proficient in web technologies (HTML, CSS, XPath) and SQL basics.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA for defect tracking and SDLC/STLC.

QA engineering team supporting a long-running product line for an international manufacturing client. The team owns functional and regression coverage for web-based applications, maintains a Java/Selenium automation framework, and runs automated suites as part of the CI/CD pipeline. Work is organised in Agile/Scrum with distributed teams; the engineer collaborates directly with developers, BAs and product owners on requirement clarification, test design and defect triage. Delivery is from Bangalore in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Execute automated and manual test cases for web applications
• Perform functional, regression, smoke and sanity testing
• Create and maintain automation frameworks on TestNG/JUnit
• Apply the Page Object Model design pattern in test automation
• Write clear and detailed test cases and test scenarios
• Identify, report and track defects in JIRA
• Work with the development team to understand application functionality
• Participate in code reviews of automation scripts
• Support CI/CD integration by maintaining automated suites
• Perform API testing using Postman or Rest Assured
• Participate in daily standups and Agile/Scrum activities
