Job summary

Nextenti Tech in India is seeking a Pharmacist to dispense prescribed medicines, verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and maintain accurate pharmacy records in a hospital/retail setting.

Fresh PCI holders are preferred. The role requires adherence to PCI regulations, GPP, and proper collaboration with doctors and nurses to ensure safe patient care and inventory management.

Qualifications

  • PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) Holders- Freshers.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescribed medicines accurately as per doctor's prescription.
  • Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety.
  • Ensure the correct labeling, packaging, and storage of medicines.
  • Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and precautions.
  • Maintain inventory of medicines and monitor stock levels.
  • Check expiry dates and remove expired or damaged medicines from stock.
  • Receive, store, and arrange medicines according to pharmacy standards.
  • Maintain pharmacy records, billing, and documentation accurately.
  • Follow Good Pharmacy Practices (GPP) and hospital/retail pharmacy protocols.
  • Comply with Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals when required.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the pharmacy.
  • Handle customer queries professionally and provide excellent patient care.
  • Report adverse drug reactions or medication errors to the concerned authority.
  • Operate pharmacy software and billing systems efficiently.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Support senior pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations.
  • Participate in continuous learning and training programs.
  • Follow all safety, hygiene, and infection control guidelines.
