We are looking for an experienced and results-drivenArea Sales Manager / Regional Sales Managerto lead sales growth for an education loan portfolio across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, or Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education loan sales, team leadership, market development, and financial services distribution.

This role requires a commercially focused sales leader who can drive loan disbursements, build strong referral networks, expand market presence, and deliver business targets while ensuring a high-quality customer experience and adherence to lending policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive education loan sales, customer acquisition, and disbursement targets across the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to expand market reach and increase portfolio growth.
• Lead, mentor, and manage sales teams to achieve individual and regional business objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, universities, student counsellors, and channel partners.
• Identify new business opportunities, referral networks, and distribution channels to generate qualified leads.
• Monitor the complete loan sales pipeline, including lead generation, application submission, sanction, and disbursement.
• Coordinate with credit, underwriting, operations, and customer service teams to ensure timely loan processing.
• Track sales performance, conversion rates, disbursement volumes, and team productivity through regular reviews.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to lending policies, documentation standards, internal processes, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and address escalations to support a positive borrowing experience.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, business reports, and performance updates for senior management.
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective measures to improve sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.

• 8+ years of experiencein sales within education loans or related retail lending and financial services.
• Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, or in a comparable sales leadership role.
• Strong understanding of education loan products, lending processes, customer acquisition, and loan disbursement cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth across a defined territory.
• Experience leading, coaching, and motivating sales teams.
