Job summary

Chola is seeking a seasoned Bancassurance leader in Kerala to manage relationships with PSU bank branches and drive insurance sales across the regional network. The role requires guiding a team of Area and Sales Managers, activating hundreds of branches, and ensuring regulatory compliance while pushing growth targets.

The candidate will coordinate product training with bank staff, monitor regional KPIs, and report performance insights to senior management.

Qualifications

• Relationship management with PSU banks and regional offices.

• Supervise and mentor a regional team of Area Managers and sales staff.

Role & responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep strategic relationships with Zonal and Regional offices of partner Public Sector (PSU) Banks.


• Business Target Achievement: Drive general/health insurance sales targets (motor, health, fire, SME) across allocated bank branches.


• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate a regional team of Area Managers, Sales Managers, and channel officers.


• Branch Activation: Increase insurance product penetration and lead generation across hundreds of networked rural and urban bank branches.


• Training and Compliance: Coordinate with bank staff to conduct product/process training and ensure adherence to regulatory (IRDAI/bank) compliances. [


• Performance Reporting: Monitor regional key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze sales data, and present review outcomes to senior corporate management

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 10 to 15+ years of channel sales or bancassurance experience within the BFSI/insurance sector.


• Network Knowledge: Established rapport or working history with PSU bank channels in the designated geographic zone.


• Skills: Strong negotiation, team management, communication, and business intelligence capabilities
