Allcargo Global Mumbai seeks a senior finance leader to oversee MIS preparation, quarterly and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and closure activities for the Mumbai Branch. You will ensure the accuracy of books, monitor cash flow, and drive timely management reporting to support business decisions.

Responsibilities include GST and TDS compliance, audit coordination with internal and statutory teams, and governance of financial controls.

Qualifications

• GST, TDS, Ind AS and Financial Statement Preparation knowledge.
• Expertise in Accounting, Financial Reporting and Financial Controls.
• Experience in Budgeting, MIS Reporting and Financial Analysis.
• Ability to handle Statutory and Internal Audits independently.
• Hands-on exposure to ERP systems and finance process automation.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review monthly MIS and management reports for Mumbai Branch.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and closure activities.
• Monitor accounting processes and ensure accuracy of books of accounts.
• Coordinate ledgers reconciliations and rectify discrepancies.
• Manage branch cash flow and oversee cash counter activities.
• Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for Mumbai operations.
• Prepare additional reports and business analysis as required by management.
• Ensure GST, TDS compliance and cooperation with taxation teams.
• Coordinate with Internal and Statutory Auditors and provide schedules/clarifications.
• Liaise with banks, vendors, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive finance process improvements and ERP/system automation initiatives.
• Lead and mentor Finance & Accounts team and manage workload.

Description du poste

• Preparation and review of monthly NVOCC Mumbai Branch MIS and management reports.
• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and closure activities.
• Monitoring accounting processes and ensuring accuracy of books of accounts.
• Timely reconciliation and rectification of ledgers and accounting records.
• Managing branch cash flow and overseeing cash counter activities.
• Budget preparation and variance analysis for Mumbai operations.
• Preparing additional reports and business analysis as required by management.

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, and applicable statutory regulations.
• Resolving GST-related issues and coordinating with taxation teams.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies, financial controls, and governance standards.

Audit & Financial Controls

• Coordinating with Internal Auditors and Statutory Auditors.
• Providing audit schedules, reports, explanations, and business process clarifications.
• Supporting IFC testing and verification activities.
• Assisting in quarter-end and year-end audit requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• Liaising with Banks for smooth day-to-day financial operations.
• Coordinating with Vendors on taxation and payment-related matters.
• Working closely with Customers for financial clarifications and requirements.
• Collaborating with Corporate Finance, Branch Teams, and Intercompany Stakeholders.

Process Improvement & System Management

• Driving finance process improvements and SOP implementation.
• Identifying opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.
• Handling ERP/software-related issues, master creation, mapping, and customization.
• Supporting business transformation initiatives across finance processes.

Team Management

• Leading and mentoring the Finance & Accounts team.
• Providing guidance on operational, customer, vendor, and banking-related issues.
• Ensuring efficient workload management and team development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Ind AS, and Financial Statement Preparation.
• Expertise in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Financial Controls.
• Experience in Budgeting, MIS Reporting, and Financial Analysis.
• Ability to handle Statutory and Internal Audits independently.
• Hands-on exposure to ERP systems and finance process automation.

• Proven experience in team handling and people management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Other Details:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Prior experience in Logistics, Shipping, NVOCC, or Freight Forwarding industry preferred.
• Strong exposure to financial controls, taxation, audits, and business partnering.
