SkillLabs in Ludhiana, Punjab, is seeking an experienced Credit Manager to lead a team and drive risk controls for LAP portfolios. The role focuses on creditworthiness assessments and ensuring compliance across pre- and post-sanction processes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in credit management within NBFC/banking environments and is proficient in MS Office, with strong communication and leadership skills. This position is based on-site in Ludhiana.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate/CA with 10+ years in credit management for LAP.
• Experience in NBFC/Banking.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience underwriting LAP for salaried, self employed and MSMEs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Area Credit Managers, Branch Credit Managers, Credit Executives and CPAs.
• Conduct personal discussions with customers to establish credit worthiness.
• Ensure pre- and post sanction credit risk compliance.
• Control delinquencies through portfolio review, especially monitoring non-starters portfolios.
• Oversee portfolio performance and CAM under writing.
• Coordinate with sales to meet targets and ensure SLAs are met.
• Manage Credit officers, Credit Admin and off-roll staff.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Managing a team of Area Credit Managers, Branch Credit Managers, Credit Executives, CPAs
• Conduct personal discussion with customers to establish Credit worthiness.
• Pre and post sanction credit risk compliance.
• Responsible for controlling delinquencies through portfolio review especially monitoring non-starters portfolio.
• Control on portfolio performance.
• Underwrite specific retail loan proposals and prepare Credit Appraisal Memo (CAM).
• Coordinate with sales to achieve targets and ensure TAT or SLAs are met
• Manage the team of Credit officers, Credit Admin and off roll staff

Candidate Profile required

• Post Graduate/Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of work experience in Credit Management for LAP
• Experience in NBFC / Banking
• Knowledge of MS office
• Should have experience in underwriting of LAP for salaried, self employed and MSMEs
