Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical basics, circuits, motors and safe working practices.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and industrial refrigeration technology.

Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Refrigeration Technician role located in Mahesana. The Refrigeration Technician will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial refrigeration, HVAC, and related electrical systems to ensure stable temperature control and equipment reliability. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control panels. The role also involves monitoring system performance, documenting maintenance activities, coordinating with warehouse operations to minimize downtime, and adhering to safety, food-safety, and compliance standards. The technician will collaborate with supervisors and vendors when needed to support continuous, efficient cold-chain operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, refrigeration, and system control issues.
• Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Electricity, including basic circuits, motors, and safe working practices.
• Candidates should possess technical competencies in HVAC systems and industrial refrigeration technology.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Experience working in cold storage, food processing, or industrial facilities will be an advantage.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, read technical manuals and schematics, and maintain accurate service records.
• Good problem-solving skills, reliability in shift-based work, and readiness to respond to equipment emergencies as needed.
