Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Reference Data Analyst to manage and validate strategic data and oversee SSI setup. The role emphasizes data quality for regulatory compliance, collaboration with stakeholders, and process efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will input and approve SSIs, follow KOP guidelines, monitor inquiries, complete required trainings, and contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives while working across time zones as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required.
  • 0.6 to 3 years of work experience in corporate Banking or related fields.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with Middle Office or clients.

Responsibilities

  • Data input & approval of Standard Settlement Instructions in downstream system.
  • Ensuring the processing guidelines (KOP) are followed with diligence.
  • Monitoring the mailboxes in terms of processing and queries.
  • Participating in employee engagement activities & effective participation in team huddle and regular meetings.
  • Ensuring the mandatory training courses are completed within time.
  • Leaves and breaks planning aligned with process deliverables and HR Workday updates.
  • Meet productivity target of 100% and complete 2-eye processing within SLA & 100% accuracy.
  • Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual intervention and remediate process gaps.

Role Description

The Reference Data & SSI Operations Analyst is responsible for managing, validating, and maintaining high-quality strategic data across the organization's systems. This role ensures data accuracy for regulatory compliance and business operations, handles the end-to-end setup of Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs), and collaborates with key stakeholders to support long-term data efficiency and risk management.

Your key responsibilities
  • Data input & approval of Standard Settlement Instructions in downstream system.
  • Ensuring the processing guidelines (KOP) are followed with diligence.

  • Meet productivity target of 100% and make sure the 2 eye processing is completed within agreed SLA & 100% accuracy.
  • Change: Identify possible automation opportunities and reduce manual intervention.
  • To work in the direction of finding process gaps and ideas to remediate the same.
Your skills and experience
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field
  • 0.6 to 3 years of work experience in corporate Banking
  • Basic knowledge of Banking operations/Financial Products (Fixed income cash & derivatives Financial Products and financial instruments including Futures, Options, Swaps).
  • Microsoft Office/Suite proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Good communication skills.
  • Interaction with the Middle Office and/or Clients to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all life cycle events.
  • Must be able to work well and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure that all work is delivered, meet the agreed production standards, and SLA timeframes & be responsible for all process related MI reports
  • Keep team management informed of status of cases and proactively identify and flag issues.
  • Creating the EOD (Log reports) for the transactions processed daily.
  • Ensure EOD controls
  • Should be flexible in working hours, also should be able to support in different time zones on rotational basis (Mandatory)
  • Able to work under pressure and against challenging timescales.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
