Recruitment of Project Trainee at NEIST Jorhat

CSIR – North East Institute of Science & Technology (NEIST), Jorhat, a constituent establishment of CSIR, is a multidisciplinary institute engaged in research across Chemical, Biological, Materials, Engineering and Geological Sciences. The institute is equipped with sophisticated, state‑of‑the‑art analytical equipment to carry out research in frontier areas of science & technology.

Supported by active research activities and externally funded projects, NEIST is expanding the R&D portfolio in Natural Products & Herbal Formulation, Agrotechnology & Rural Development, Petroleum Research, Testing and Quality Control. To strengthen these areas, the institute is looking for Project Trainees.

Project Trainee: 5 positions
Salary: Rs. 10,000 per month
Eligibility: 1st class Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science (any discipline)

Selection will be based primarily on academic performance and an interview. Candidates invited to the walk‑in interview must bring original copies of their marksheets, certificates and a photograph. The successful candidates are expected to join immediately after selection.
