Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Process Developer/Management Trainee for Record to Report (RTR) in Maharashtra. The role targets accounting graduates with knowledge in fixed assets, intercompany, and month-end closing. Strong MS Excel skills and clear communication are valued.

You will handle journal entries, closing calendars, internal controls, and bank reconciliations, ensuring timely, accurate month-end deliverables. Prior RTR exposure and SAP/Blackline familiarity will boost candidacy.

Qualifications

• B.Com Graduate with accounting exposure.
• Experience in Fixed Assets, Intercompany, and Month end closing and reporting is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Experience in General accounting (R2R) and familiarity with SAP/Blackline is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/post Journals at the end of the month after analysis of prepaid & accruals accounts.
• Prepare monthly closing calendar and discuss the status of activities with Client during month-end close.
• Execute internal controls and checks as part of the process and perform tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
• Daily bank reconciliations and clearing.
• Identify open items and coordinate with relevant teams to close before month end; balance sheet reconciliations.

We seek an accounting graduate with prior accounting experience. You should have Strong Accounting Knowledge in Fixed Assets Intercompany and Month end closing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/post Journals at the end of the month after analysis of prepaid & accruals account etc.
• Prepare monthly closing calendar and discuss the status of activities with Client during month-end close
• Execute internal controls and checks as part of the process and Performing task with accuracy and timelines
• Daily bank reconciliations and clearing.
• Identify open items and take it up with relevant Team to get closure before month end to ensure no open items after the closing Balance Sheet reconciliations

Qualifications Minimum qualifications

• B.Com Graduate
• Meaningful work experience

Preferred qualifications

• Proven experience in reputed Captive/Outsourcing RTR Ops
• Good MS Office skills specially MS excel
• Good verbal and written communication
• Excellent Accounting Knowledge
• Experience in General accounting (R2R function)
• Technology skills – SAP & Blackline reconciliations tool experience preferred.
