Job summary

Accenture is seeking an Ops Manager for Record to Report with focus on Fixed Asset accounting. You will align with Finance Operations, drive month-end close, reconcile transactions, and design processes for asset recording and CIP projects.

The role requires 13–18 years of experience in R2R/finance processes and knowledge of asset accounting. It offers exposure to multi-national clients and complex asset portfolios in a global delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation is required.
• 13–18 years of experience preferred in finance operations or R2R environments.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess complex problems for area of responsibility.
• Create solutions requiring in-depth analysis and evaluation of variable factors.
• Align with senior management to establish near-term goals.
• Interact with client or Accenture senior management on matters needing alternative approaches.
• Flag risks to clients and stakeholders and propose action plans.
• Update close tasks, track completion, highlight risks, and communicate issues affecting close timetable.
• Prepare accurate reconciliations with support, aging, explanations and action plans for open items.
• Investigate interface and reconciliation exceptions and follow up with stakeholders to clear aged items.
• Maintain complete close and reconciliation evidence and support audits.

What would you do?

• You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
• Design and implement process and solutions to record and process all aspects of fixed assets accounting.
• Includes chart of accounts alignment, back office integration, folio management, payment processing, transfer & retirement of assets, physical inventory and Construction In Process (CIP) project accounting.

What are we looking for?

• Finance Processes
• End-to-end month-end close, subledger close, journal processing and balance-sheet reconciliation
• Systems Knowledge (preferred)
• Experience with BlackLine or similar reconciliation and close-management tools
• Industry Experience (preferred)
• Experience in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• In this role you are required to identify and assess complex problems for area of responsibility
• You will need to create solutions in situations which require an in-depth analysis and evaluation of variable factors
• This will require alignment to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals
• Your primary interaction will be with senior management at a client or within Accenture, involving matters that may require acceptance of an alternate approach
• Some latitude in decision-making is involved, you will act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
• You will need to flag risks to clients and Accenture stakeholders and propose action plans where needed
• Update close tasks, track completion, highlight risks and communicate issues that may affect the close timetable.
• Prepare accurate reconciliations with appropriate support, aging, explanations and action plans for open items.
• Investigate interface and reconciliation exceptions, post approved corrections and follow up with stakeholders to clear aged items.
• Maintain complete close and reconciliation evidence, support audits and contribute to close-cycle improvement; specific KPI targets
