Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Record to Report Ops Associate Manager in Gurugram to lead financial reporting activities and drive accurate financial statements.

The role requires 10–14 years of finance experience, a Bachelor’s in Finance, and deep knowledge of accounting standards. You will analyze operational data, reconcile transactions, and collaborate with senior leaders. The position may involve rotational shifts and cross-functional interaction within Accenture.

Qualifications

• Aligned with Finance Operations to determine financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
• A set of international accounting standards stating how particular types of transactions and other events should be reported in financial statements. What are we looking for?

• In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems.
• Typically creates new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.
• The person requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
• Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or team leads.
• Generally interacts with peers and or management levels at a client and or within Accenture.
• The person should require minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments.
• Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams.
• Individual would manage medium-small sized teams and or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
• Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts

Responsibilities

• Aligned with Finance Operations to determine financial outcomes by collecting reports, analyzing data and reconciling transactions.
• Analyze international accounting standards to determine proper financial reporting.
• Provide analysis and solve moderately complex problems with proposed solutions.
• Understand strategic direction from senior management for team goals.
• Interact with supervisor, leads and client/Accenture management as needed.
• Work with teammates and management across units with minimal guidance.
• Assess impact of decisions on the team and other units.
• Possibly manage small teams or work streams at client sites or within Accenture.
• May require working in rotational shifts.
