Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Record to Report Ops Analyst in India. You will align with Finance Operations, collecting data and reports, performing analyses, and reconciling transactions to support balance sheet integrity.

The role includes journal entries, reconciliations, month-end closing, and intercompany activities. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in R2R, with a graduation and comfort in ERP environments such as SAP FI-AA or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Process asset additions, transfers, disposals, write-offs and adjustments in ERP (SAP FI-AA, Oracle).
• Execute monthly depreciation runs and post accruals/reversals for CIP/AUC.
• Prepare and reconcile fixed asset schedules with GL; complete roll-forward and statutory reports.
• Analyze and solve lower-complexity problems and suggest process improvements.
• Interact with peers and management; limited client exposure possible.

What would you do?

• You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data, reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
• The Record to Report team helps clients and organizations in their operational efficiency and balance sheet integrity, cuts time to close and safeguards compliance with regulatory requirements.
• The areas where this teams expertise lies is in Preparing and posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting month end closing, preparing reports and supports in audits, perform variance analysis and provide comments for month over month movement in Trial Balance, perform reporting activities, perform intercompany related activities, FA and Lease related activities.
• The Account Reconciliation team focuses on general ledger accounting which contains a summary of sub-ledger accounts. The role requires a good understanding of P&L accounts, bookkeeping, journal entries, voucher entry, trial balance, and month-end reporting.
• The role may also need expertise around intercompany reconciliations, cut-off policies, transfer pricing policies, formal confirmation policy & procedure. What are we looking for?
