Responsibilities

• Align with Finance Operations to collect data and reconcile transactions.

• Prepare and post daily or monthly journal entries, including accruals and reclassifications.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank statements, and sub-ledgers.
• Execute full-cycle month-end and year-end close to generate financial statements.
• Analyze financial statements and investigate variances in budgets or expenses.
• Support audits and ensure GAAP compliance across records.
• Role may involve rotating shifts.

What would you do?

• You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
• Involves balancing all balance sheet accounts against sub-ledger or other non-general ledger based source data to verify whether the balance sheet accounts are in balance with the source system feeding the general ledger.
• Differences which arise are addressed as reconciling items. What are we looking for?
• Prepare, review, and post daily or monthly journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications.
• Account Reconciliations: Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank statements, and sub-ledgers to maintain accurate records.
• Month-End Close: Execute full-cycle month-end and year-end closing activities to generate timely financial statements.
• Variance Analysis: Analyze financial statements and investigate budget or expense variances.
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure financial records follow GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Roles and Responsibilities:
• In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems.
• May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.
• The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
