Job summary

Dyson is seeking an RTR Analyst to execute end-to-end Record-to-Report activities within its Finance Operations function. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, process excellence, and enabling informed business decision-making for sustainable growth.

You will manage month-end close, intercompany reconciliations, and asset accounting, while supporting audits and cross-functional collaboration across global teams. Strong Excel and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• 3–5 years of RTR, General Ledger, Financial Accounting, or Shared Services experience.
• Practical exposure to month-end close, reconciliations, journal processing, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting audit requirements and maintaining financial controls.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with BlackLine and OneStream is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Record-to-Report processes including bank statement processing and month-end closing.
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions, including netting and balance confirmations.
• Handle inventory and fixed asset accounting tasks such as capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries including accruals and reversals.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items; experience with BlackLine is preferred.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Support periodic and ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis.
• Assist in audit activities by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and global teams to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous process improvement through standardization and automation.

About the Role The RTR Analyst is responsible for executing end-to-end Record to Report activities within Dyson’s Finance Operations function. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Record-to-Report (RTR) processes, including bank statement processing, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions, including netting, settlements, and balance confirmations.
• Handle accounting activities related to inventory and fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries, including accruals, adjustments, reversals, and corrections.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items; experience with BlackLine is preferred.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
• Support periodic and ad-hoc financial reporting, analysis, and management information requirements.
• Assist in internal and external audit activities by preparing schedules and providing supporting documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and global teams to resolve accounting and process-related issues.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives through root cause analysis, standardization, and automation opportunities.
• Develop, update, and maintain Desktop Procedures (DTPs), process maps, and process documentation

About you

• Sound understanding of General Ledger and Record-to-Report processes.
• Expertise in intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP FI; exposure to BlackLine and OneStream is advantageous.
• Strong Excel and data interpretation capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong focus on accuracy, control, and compliance.
• Ability to manage priorities effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in process optimization and automation.
• Strong documentation, organization, and collaboration abilities.
