Job summary

Alstom Transportation in Bangalore is seeking a full-time Record-to-Report (R2R) Analyst. The role focuses on administering journal entries, asset accounting, and managing the month-end close calendar, while collaborating with Project Controllers, Finance Controllers, and the RB Team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate brings either CA Inter with 5+ years of R2R experience or a Commerce graduate with 8+ years in R2R, alongside strong English communication and ERP

Qualifications

• CA Inter with over 5 years of experience OR Commerce Graduate with relevant R2R experience of over 8 years
• Experience or understanding of comprehensive accounting practices
• Knowledge of ERP systems at a working level
• Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliations
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Adaptability and a continuous learning mindset

Responsibilities

• Administering the journal entry process and templates
• Preparing and performing manual journal postings
• Reversing accruals and managing fixed asset requests
• Booking lease journals and preparing bank reconciliation statements
• Conducting balance sheet and FI-CO reconciliations
