Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team is seeking a detail-oriented professional with General ledger and R2R experience in the Insurance sector. The role involves preparing journals, closing month-end activities, and reconciling accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Candidate will review open/aged item analyses, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and support control compliant close processes. Knowledge of BlackLine, SAP or Power BI is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in General ledger and R2R processes in Insurance industry preferred.
• Ability to prepare journals and complete month-end close activities.
• Investigate problems and organize projects during close cycles.
• Review and publish open/aged items analysis reports.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to investigate unreconciled balances.
• Experience with BlackLine, SAP and Power BI is a plus.
• Adherence to internal controls and compliance.

• Experience of working on Blackline Tool,SAP and PowerBi will be an added advantage
• Good technical knowledge is required to understand the activities, process work flow and client expectations
• Stakeholder management (Internal/ External) to resolve process or system issues
• Able to work on time sensitive deliverable during close period
• Adherence of internal controls and compliance
• Verifies completeness and accuracy of accounting documents
