Job summary

SLB is seeking a DrillOps Field Deployment Lead with strong IT deployment experience at the wellsite. The role focuses on rig-IT infrastructure, data management, access control, and communication between rig site and remote centers.

The candidate will work with Orchestra and Prism systems, manage IT equipment inventory, restart virtual machines, and troubleshoot related issues to ensure seamless operations at the wellsite.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of relevant expertise in field IT deployment.
• Experience managing rig IT infrastructure and networks.
• Knowledge of town-based orchestration and wellsite systems.

The DrillOps Field Deployment Lead is comfortable in the rig environment and has advanced knowledge and access to the IT infrastructure at the wellsite. The DrillOps Field Deployment Lead is essentially responsible for the rig-IT infrastructure and software updates, IT equipment inventory control, data management and communication between rig site and any remote center. This person is a basic user of the data acquisition/core and services elements of the wellsite execution systems. The DrillOps Field Deployment Lead needs to understand town-based Orchestra & Prism systems.
