PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking a Real Estate Form 1065 Senior Associate to support US tax compliance for real estate clients. You will prepare and review Form 1065 deliverables, analyze financial data, and guide junior staff while aligning with firm standards and independence requirements.

You will collaborate with US-based tax and fund accounting teams, apply tax tools and methodologies, and help ensure timely and accurate returns across multiple client engagements.

Qualificações

• Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years’ experience in US Taxation with focus on Partnership and Corporate funds.
• Experience in Private Equity, Real Estate, Hedge Fund, Credit, and/or Fund-of-Fund structures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; English fluency required.
• Open to work in UK shift and able to operate from the Bengaluru office.

Responsabilidades

• Review non-resident state withholding waiver forms.
• Review forms: 1065, 1120, 588, 1099, W-8, 8832, 8875, 8865, 8937, 8082, 966.
• Perform Federal K-1 and State K-1 schedule review for Partners.
• Prepare and review tax work papers calculating partnership taxable income.
• Analyze financial information from underlying portfolio companies.
• Track partnership/partner tax basis and assist with quarterly estimates.
• Prepare ASC 740 tax provision workpapers and support ad-hoc requests.
• Interact with tax and fund accounting teams in the US.

As a Real Estate Form 1065 Senior Associate you will support tax compliance work for real estate clients within our Tax Services practice, preparing and reviewing Form 1065 deliverables, analyzing financial information, and helping clients meet filing obligations. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex issues, manage assigned workstreams, build meaningful client connections, and guide junior team members while developing deeper technical skills and business context. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will contribute to compliance activities across client engagements, use tax tools and methodologies to interpret data and prepare returns, and help validate that work is delivered in line with firm standards and independence requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the calculation of State and Foreign (IRC 1446, IRC 1441) tax withholdings
• Assist in the review of non-resident state withholding waivers forms
• Review the following tax forms: 1065, 1120, 588, 1099, W-8, 8832, 8875, 8865, 8937, 8082, 966
• Perform Federal K-1 schedule and State K-1 schedule review for all Partners
• Prepare and review tax work papers that calculate partnership taxable income
• Gather and analyze financial information from underlying portfolio companies
• Track partnership/partner tax basis
• Assist with the preparation and review of quarterly income estimates
• Prepare ASC 740 tax provision workpapers
• Provide support on miscellaneous projects and ad-hoc requests
• Analyze and document issues and help debug issues found by users or support team
• Interact with tax and fund accounting team in US

Desired Candidate Profile

• Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 3-5 years’ experience in US Taxation, with a focus on Partnership and Corporate fund structures
• Experience in Private Equity, Real Estate, Hedge Fund, Credit, and/or Fund-of-Fund structures
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Strong multi-tasking capabilities and can deliver under tight deadlines
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate and partner with multiple stakeholders; English spoken and written capabilities are required
• Highly effective communicator with exceptional attention to detail and documentation standards
• Open to work in UK shift
• Flexible to work from Office
