Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Embedded Software Developer to design and maintain embedded software for STB and Digital TV platforms. You will work with Embedded C/C++, Linux and RDK-V Middleware, leveraging Yocto for embedded Linux builds and addressing networking and cable modem components.

The role involves collaboration across development, QA, and external vendors, with a focus on platform upgrades, security updates, and system hardening on media set-top devices.

Qualifications

• Master of Computer Applications, Master of Engineering, Master of Science, Master of Technology, Bachelor of Computer Applications, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology are acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded C/C++ and Linux is required.
• Experience with RDK-V Middleware, Yocto, and STB platforms is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software using Embedded C/C++ on Linux-based STB and Digital TV platforms.
• Develop and enhance components within RDK-V Middleware.
• Work with Yocto build system for embedded Linux platforms and update security patches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors on platform bring-up and upgrades.
• Support networking, cable modem components, and system hardening activities.

Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Embedded Software Developer with experience in Embedded C/C++, Linux, RDK-V Middleware, Networking, and Yocto to work on Digital TV, Set-Top Box (STB), and Cable Modem platforms. The role involves embedded software development, debugging, platform enhancements, security updates, and support for hardware and software upgrades.

Roles Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software using Embedded C/C++
• Work on Linux-based STB and Digital TV platforms
• Develop and enhance components within RDK-V Middleware
• Work with the Yocto build system for embedded Linux platforms
• Develop and troubleshoot Networking and Cable Modem related components
• Support new hardware bring-up and platform upgrades
• Support security updates, CVE monitoring, and system hardening
• Work closely with development, QA, delivery teams, and external vendors
