Job summary

Nokia’s Bengaluru-based Optical R&D team seeks an experienced test engineer to design and automate production tests for ICT equipment, collaborating with global partners to advance optical data transmission.

You will drive DFT reviews, produce ICT test plans, and train RD Hardware staff while coordinating with 3rd party suppliers. 5+ years in ICT test development and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional test experience in development of test solutions on ICT equipment (e.g., Keysight 3070).
• Strong understanding of ICT fixture technologies.
• Ability to work in an international team with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Autonomously manage and track projects.
• Fluent English in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Design for Test (DFT) reviews using the Testway tool to ensure testability at the PBA level is conforming.
• Develop Production Test Plan input for ICT to ensure high coverage in the ICT application.
• Provide updates and training on DFT documents and requirements to RD Hardware personnel.
• Manage ICT ordering with 3rd party ICT suppliers (PjM, share technical requirements, create SOW).
• Knowledge of test methodologies and testing techniques.
• Experience using Aster Testway or similar automated test access analysers.
• Good understanding of Supply Chain processes.
• Hardware design background and Boundary Scan experience.

• Strong understanding of ICT fixture technologies.
• Ability to perform in an international team environment and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and providing support to resolve global manufacturing issues remotely.
