Job summary

Veradigm is hiring for a Payment Processing Specialist in Pune (Work from Office). You will manage processing, batching, scanning, and indexing of client payments and deposits, ensuring data accuracy and EFT verification. The role supports Revenue Cycle Services with efficient handling of payment documentation.

The candidate will track discrepancies, re-scan when needed, and coordinate information transfer from FTP sites and client lockboxes, while maintaining timely follow-up with clients.

Qualifications

• Familiar with payment processing workflows including batching, scanning and indexing.
• Capable of handling client payment data accurately and securely.
• Proficient with EFT processes and verifying EFT transactions.
• Comfortable using payer websites and document storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Tracks discrepancies in the document storage system from charge batches with missing information.
• Pulls and re-scans documents for clarity as needed.
• Enters data into document storage indexing fields accurately.
• Identifies and reports discrepancies for resolution.
• Supports transfer of information from FTP site into the document storage system.
• Supports retrieval of information from client lockboxes for processing.
• Ensures prompt return and follow up to information requests.

Overview

Ensures the efficient and accurate processing, batching, tracking, scanning and indexing of client payments and deposits. Ensures client payment data are accurate, proactively verifies electronic funds transfers, resolves payment batch integrity issues, and updates payment documentation. Supports the overall RCS Operations and Client Services departments by efficiently and effectively assisting related Revenue Cycle Services process and procedures.

• Work Location - Pune (Work from Office)
• Shift timings - (7:30 PM - 4:30 AM) IST

Responsibilities

• Tracks discrepancies in the document storage system from charge batches that are missing information and sending back to the client.
• Pulls and re-scans as needed for clarity.
• Enters applicable information accurately into document storage indexing fields.
• Identifies and reports any discrepancies for resolution.
• Supports transfer of information from the FTP site into the document storage system for processing.
• Supports the retrieval of information from client lockboxes for processing.
• Ensures prompt return and follow up to requests for information.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Basic knowledge on use of email, search engine, Internet, ability to effectively use payer websites and Laserfiche; knowledge and use of Microsoft Products: Outlook, Word, Excel
• Understands efficient and accurate payment processing methods, including batching, tracking, scanning, and indexing.
• Knowledge of how to handle and verify client payment data accurately.
• Familiarity with EFT processes and the ability to proactively verify EFT transactions.
• Awareness of payment documentation requirements and the ability to update relevant records.
• Ability to meticulously process payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Skill in resolving payment batch integrity issues promptly.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
