Position Summary
Veradigm Life is seeking an RCM Associate Manager to lead a team of billing experts and manage the accounts receivable health for client practices. This fully onsite role is based in Pune, Maharashtra and requires a 7:30 PM IST - 4:30 AM IST shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong customer service to clients, ensuring satisfaction, AR health, and efficient RCM team operations.
- Act as first point of contact for team members, query resolution, and guidance on work matters.
- Interact with clients and patients, proactively resolving issues and answering inquiries.
- Deliver timely reports to RCM management, initiate and communicate issues resolution.
- Meet regularly with staff, in-person or as a group, to confirm client account status and sustain engagement.
- Track client AR productivity and health (charge, payments, collections, adjustments) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Review month-end reports and other AR activity reports to ensure benchmarks are met, identify trends and denials.
- Analyze reports to determine causes of AR declines and develop corrective actions.
- Follow up to ensure actions achieve the desired results; determine alternative resolutions if needed.
- Review vendor work for accuracy and production, implement improvements.
- Achieve goals set by management and ensure compliance.
- Recruit internal/external talent, induct new hires, set objectives, allocate workload, and develop staff.
- Provide constructive feedback, recognize high performers, and address underperformance.
- Communicate company news and progress against the business plan.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in medical billing/RCM, with 2-3 years at a senior level.
- 3+ years in medical billing field; 0-2 years of leadership experience.
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding, and medical terminology.
- Completion of medical billing training (classroom or on-the-job).
- Experience with billing systems such as NextGen, Pro, Epic, and others.
- Basic competence in Microsoft products, email, search engines, and internet; proficiency with payer websites and Laserfiche.
- Preferred: experience with MS Access, PowerPoint, Crystal Reports; accounting knowledge.
Working Arrangements
Standard work week with possible after-hours, on-call support, and holiday coverage during peak periods.
