Key ResponsibilitiesCode Assignment:Review radiologist reports to assign accurate codes for diagnostic imaging (X-ray, MRI, Mammography) and interventional procedures (biopsies, angiography, drainages).Documentation Audit: Analyze medical records for completeness and identify deficiencies or missing information.Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all codes are sequenced correctly according to government and insurance regulations to minimize claim denials.HIPAA Adherence: Maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA security requirements.
