Job summary

ANG Placement & Staffing Solutions PVT LTD invites an experienced radiologist to join a full-time role. You will evaluate histories, perform X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound and fluoroscopy, and generate comprehensive reports with clear recommendations.

The ideal candidate holds MBBS with a radiology postgraduate qualification (MD/DM/DNB), has NMC/state registrations, and 2–3 years post-qualification experience in a hospital or imaging center.

Qualifications

• MBBS with a postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DM/DNB) from a recognized medical institution.
• Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state medical councils.
• 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging center.
• Experience interpreting CT, MRI, ultrasound and conventional radiography.
• Ability to select imaging protocols based on patient condition and symptoms.
• Proficiency in safe administration and monitoring of radiopaque contrast agents.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient medical histories, physical conditions, and presenting symptoms to determine the most appropriate radiological examinations for accurate diagnosis.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
• Administer radiopaque contrast agents safely and effectively, monitoring patients for adverse reactions and managing emergencies when necessary.
• Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely radiology reports with clear diagnostic impressions and clinical recommendations.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to refine imaging protocols and support clinical decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, ALARA principles, and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in quality assurance programs, peer review, and continuous professional development.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior radiology staff, residents, and medical students.
• Maintain meticulous records and ensure data integrity across digital imaging and communications in medicine (DICOM) systems.

Requirements

• Proficiency in the safe administration and monitoring of radiopaque contrast agents, including managing allergic and anaphylactic reactions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and hospital information systems (HIS).
• Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
• Continuous engagement in professional development and participation in relevant medical conferences and training programs.
