Responsibilities
Perform and interpret a wide range of medical imaging procedures, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, and mammography.
Generate comprehensive, accurate, and timely radiology reports for clinical teams and referring physicians.
Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes.
Utilize advanced imaging software and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) for image analysis and documentation.
Participate in quality assurance programs, peer reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiological techniques, protocols, and safety standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, radiation safety protocols, and institutional policies.
Provide expert consultation in complex or ambiguous cases, including interventional radiology support when required.
Contribute to teaching and training of residents, fellows, and medical students as needed.
Requirements
MBBS degree with postgraduate specialization in Radiology (MD/DM in Radiology or equivalent).
Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in diagnostic radiology.
Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, and mammography imaging studies.
Strong understanding of radiation safety, dose optimization, and patient protection protocols.
