Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a wide range of medical imaging procedures, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, and mammography.
• Generate comprehensive, accurate, and timely radiology reports for clinical teams and referring physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes.
• Utilize advanced imaging software and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) for image analysis and documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance programs, peer reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiological techniques, protocols, and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, radiation safety protocols, and institutional policies.
• Provide expert consultation in complex or ambiguous cases, including interventional radiology support when required.
• Contribute to teaching and training of residents, fellows, and medical students as needed.

Requirements

• MBBS degree with postgraduate specialization in Radiology (MD/DM in Radiology or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, and mammography imaging studies.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety, dose optimization, and patient protection protocols.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with PACS, RIS (Radiology Information Systems), and electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
• Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent regulatory body).
• Willingness to work in a rotating shift schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and participation in continuing medical education (CME) programs.
