Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Radiologist role based in Coimbatore. The Radiologist will perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and other modalities, to support accurate clinical decision-making. Daily responsibilities include reviewing imaging requests, supervising imaging procedures, preparing clear and concise reports, and communicating findings to referring clinicians. The role also involves ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols, optimizing imaging techniques, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiologic advances. The Radiologist may participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to continuous improvement in clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine, with the ability to correlate clinical findings with imaging results.
• Core expertise in Radiology, including interpretation of common and advanced diagnostic imaging studies.
• Knowledge and experience in Nuclear Medicine for relevant diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Proficiency in Medical Imaging modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and related technologies.
• Specific skills in Mammography, including screening and diagnostic breast imaging and reporting.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB or equivalent).
• Valid medical registration and licensing as required by local regulatory authorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams and communicate findings clearly.
